Morpheus8 Results
Real before-and-after cases from Elyzea Miraflores, Lima
Morpheus8 combines microneedling with fractional radiofrequency to stimulate collagen production in the deeper layers of the skin. The result is progressive tightening, wrinkle reduction, and improved skin texture. The cases below are real Elyzea patients treated by Dra. Geldres at our Miraflores clinic.
Skin rejuvenation & tightening
Full facial rejuvenation
Post-treatment result
Deep wrinkles on cheek and jawline area. Notable improvement in texture, firmness, and line reduction through collagen remodeling.
Neck and décolletage tightening
Post-treatment result
Skin with pronounced wrinkles and sun damage across neck and chest. Visible line reduction, smoother texture, and firmer skin.
Perioral and jawline tightening
Post-treatment result
Perioral and jaw area with pronounced wrinkles. Significant line reduction and visible lifting effect without surgery.
Results are individual and depend on degree of laxity, skin phototype, age, and biological response. Sessions required may vary. Photographs taken by the Elyzea team with patient consent.
How Morpheus8 builds the results above
Morpheus8 is a fractional microneedling system pioneered by InMode that delivers bipolar radiofrequency (RF) energy through 24 gold-coated microneedles. The needles penetrate to programmable depths between 1 mm and 4 mm, depositing RF directly into the reticular dermis and subcutaneous fat — the tissue layers responsible for skin laxity, deep wrinkles, and fibrous scarring.
Two healing responses follow each session. First, the micro-injuries trigger neocollagenesis (new collagen formation) over the next 6 to 12 weeks. Second, the RF coagulates the subcutaneous adipose layer and tightens the existing collagen scaffold, producing the lifting effect visible in the jawline and neck cases above. Because the energy reaches the deep dermis without ablating the surface, downtime is shorter than ablative CO₂ laser while reaching depths microneedling alone cannot.
At Elyzea, Dra. Geldres calibrates needle depth, RF energy, and pulse duration per zone — typically 2.0 to 3.0 mm for the cheek and jawline cases shown above, with lighter settings around the perioral and neck regions. The device is the genuine InMode Morpheus8 system; the serial number is verifiable on request.
Morpheus8 session timeline
Session 1 (Day 0)
Topical anesthesia for 30–45 minutes, then a 60–90 minute treatment. Mild redness and a sunburn sensation for 24–48 hours; pinpoint marks fade in 2–4 days.
Weeks 3–4
First visible texture improvements as the initial wave of new collagen forms in the dermis. Pores often look refined; fine lines begin to soften.
Sessions 2 and 3 (Weeks 4–12)
Spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Each session builds on the previous collagen scaffold. Tightening, scar improvement, and jawline definition compound across sessions.
Months 3–6 (Peak result)
Collagen remodeling reaches full maturity. The cases shown on this page reflect this window: 3 to 6 months after the final session. Results then last 1–2 years on average, with annual maintenance recommended.
Morpheus8 results — frequently asked
How many sessions are typically needed?
Most patients undergo 3 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. Some indications — deep acne scars or marked skin laxity — benefit from a 4th session. Dra. Geldres confirms the personalized count during your free consultation based on skin laxity, age, and target depth.
When do results become visible?
Initial texture improvements appear at 3 to 4 weeks as new collagen begins to form. Tightening and lifting continue to develop progressively, with peak results typically visible 3 to 6 months after the final session as the collagen scaffold fully matures.
How long do results last?
Collagen and elastin remodeling lasts 1 to 2 years on average. The natural aging process continues, so annual maintenance sessions are common to sustain tightening and texture benefits.
Is Morpheus8 safe for darker skin tones?
Yes. The radiofrequency energy bypasses melanin and is delivered through microneedles directly to the dermis. This makes it safe across the full Fitzpatrick scale, including Fitzpatrick IV–VI skin tones common in Latin American and Andean patients.
What downtime should I plan for?
Expect redness and a sunburn-like sensation for 24 to 48 hours, with mild micro-pinpoint marks fading over 2 to 4 days. Most patients return to normal activities the next day; makeup can be applied at 48 hours. Strict sun protection is essential during recovery.
